    The Sunset area of the North Shore is generally home to two groups. Surfers and those with the funds to buy homes on these widely envied lands. It's not just professional board riders, current and retired, who have tied their leash permanently here. The top surf companies have bought as well, making the houses their headquarters during the big competitions that happen up here. They can't have their sponsored surfers fighting the traffic with everyone else to reach the beaches on contest day.
