Note:
Waikoloa Village is different from the
Waikoloa Beach Resort.
The Paniolo Club is near the southeastern corner of Waikoloa Village, the Village Course’s 14th fairway sitting against both its western and southern sides. The project was built in two phases – Paniolo I & II -, but the floor plans are the same in both. The main difference is that II has the one three-story building in it.
These two bedroom condos have interiors ranging from 1,136 to 1,144 Sq Ft with one lanai exterior. Residences on the top floor of each building have high ceilings, some of them including a large loft space that can be used for an office or an additional bedroom. Those on the top floor often have access to an attic storage space of their own as well.
Each unit has one assigned, uncovered parking spot to use. Ceiling fans are found in the living areas and the bedrooms. Washer/Dryer is inside every condo.
All of the buildings are walk-ups, so there are no elevators here.
The residences here look right out at the golf course while a few have peekaboo or horizon ocean views.
Amenities & Things To Do The Paniolo Club does not have amenities of its own, but you are covered by those that are part of the
Waikoloa Village Association membership that comes with being an owner. The
Aquatic Center here is restricted to members and guests only, its main pool being 25 yards in length. Lap swimming is scheduled daily along with open swim and aerobics exercise classes in the water. Adjacent to the main pool is one for kids that has a wade-in entry to it. Another facility for only members are the two tennis/pickleball courts which are lighted and can be reserved online.
The Village Golf Course, designed by
Robert Trent Jones Jr., is open to the public, but Association membership puts you first in line for the better tee times. You also have discounted pricing at the Course on many of the services and the pro shop.
Lastly, the
Waikoloa Stables have reduced fees for many of their activities, such as riding lessons, trail rides and, if needed, horse boarding.
A perk of the Paniolo Club’s specific location is being just 1/2 mile from
Waikoloa Highlands Center, which has a grocery store, gas station and a selection of shops and eateries. Another block south and there’s a hardware store, post office and an electric vehicle charging station to handle almost any immediate need.
