Note:
Waikoloa Village is not the same as the
Waikoloa Beach Resort.
Waikoloa Hills is a gated community in the southeast corner of the residential resort of Waikoloa Village. On its east is nothing but open, undeveloped land for miles, its north insulated from the adjoining neighborhood by a buffer of thick green growth.
The two bedroom condos’ interiors measure from 922 to 1,297 Sq Ft with one or two lanais exterior.Additionally, off of each bedroom is a balcony, with enough room to stand outside, but not sit. The floor plans are a mix of single-level and townhomes that have a second story with both bedrooms and two bathrooms there.
One standout feature of all of these residences is a wood burning fireplace for the cool evenings this part of the Big Island can get.
Each unit has one assigned, uncovered parking space to use. Ceiling fans are throughout the living areas and bedrooms for cooling the interior.
Washer/Dryer is inside every condo. These are all walk-up buildings, so there are no elevators here.
Although these homes do not have a view of the ocean, they do have excellent garden and mountain views, including Mauna Kea.
Amenities & Things To Do Ownership gives you membership in the
Waikoloa Village Association, which includes access to amenities and perks.
While
The Village Golf Course is open to the public, being a WVA member provides choices of better tee times and discounted pricing there. That applies to the
Waikoloa Stables also, where you have lower fees for riding lessons, trail rides and other equestrian recreation. The two tennis/pickleball courts and the Aquatic Center, though, are members-only, no public allowed. The Aquatic Center has a large lap pool and a kids pool to serve the whole family.
Inside the gates of your own neighborhood you have a pool and hot tube of your own to enjoy if you want an even more convenient swimming choice. For even greater convenience,
Waikoloa Highlands Center is practically across the street from you. Along with about thirty stores, services and dining options, it also has a grocery store and gas station for those daily needs.
