Hualalai Village is surrounded by open, undeveloped lands on three sides, including toward the ocean, which is a little less than a mile away.
The one to four bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 616 to 2,254 Sq Ft and one to three lanais exterior. This community was built in two stages. The first, Phase 1A in 2002, built forty one units, followed in 2007 by Phases 1B & 1C that each added thirty one, for a total of sixty two more in those.
Altogether, there are:
- ten one bedrooms
- forty-seven two bedrooms
- forty-four three bedrooms
- two four bedrooms (only two-story floor plans).
Each unit has two assigned parking spaces, one covered and one uncovered. Ceiling fans are a standard feature mounted in the nine foot ceilings of the interiors, with some also having split a/c systems installed by the owners. Washer/Dryer are inside every residence. These are walk-up buildings, so there are no elevators in the complex.
Almost every condo has ocean views, predominantly peekaboo or partial, but a few select three bedroom units have dramatic wide ocean views.
Amenities & Things To Do Honl’s Beach is almost directly west of you, the trip down to it being about 1 ½ miles. Some swimming here is possible when the swells are calmer, but this is a beach more for bodyboarders. Boogie boarding started on this very spot, so you already know you can get in some rides here. This isn’t a large beach, but you won’t encounter crowds here very often, so claiming a spot on the sands is usually easy.
One place to always find swimmable waters is less than 2 miles north of your home at
Kamakahonu Beach. Found in a cove setting with a protective offshore reef, you can wade in or get in some strokes here without worrying about getting tossed around. The reef isn’t very far from the shore and many head there regularly to do some snorkeling. Home to tropical fish, octopus and all kinds of undersea life, including sea turtles, there’s a lot to see all around you.
