If the surf report sounds too rough, you can head ¾ mile north to the
Walua Trail North Trailhead. The trail is 6.5 miles, roundtrip, that is paved the whole way. The smooth path and scenery along the whole way is perfect for a relaxing walk, a solid hike or for jogging in the cooler morning or evening time. Make time for stops at the lookouts where you can see the Kona sights around you, from the coastline to the untamed Island lands still here.
