Amenities & Things To Do It’s less than 2 miles to be at
Magic Sands Beach, which is especially popular for boogie boarding and surfing. Those active waves can make swimming more difficult at times, so being aware of the current strength of the swells is always important. Although famous for the rise and fall of its sand levels on shore, the views and the low-rise, laid back surroundings are a draw on their own.
For some, a greater attraction will be only about ¾ mile north of your home at the
Walua Trail North Trailhead. This smooth, paved pathway provides a trek that is used by hikers, joggers and walkers over all or part of its 6.5 mile round trip length. It takes you through beautiful Kona scenery with outlooks down on the Pacific that you can stop and enjoy as you go.
