The Kona White Sands is an almost beachfront community, with just its front lawn area and Alii Dr combining to make up the approx. 30 yards that separate these condos from the sand.
The studio and one bedroom units all have 392 to 504 Sq Ft interiors with one lanai outside that faces the Pacific. A shared coin laundry is on-site since the condos do not have washers or dryers. Each residence has one assigned, uncovered parking space on the mountain side of the building for their use. Residents rely exclusively on ceiling fans for cooling the inside. This is a walk-up building, so there is no elevator.
Every condo has an ocean view from partial to almost unobstructed.
Amenities & Things To Do Beach time is much easier to get when crossing a street safely is the biggest barrier to it.
Magic Sands Beach Park is high even on longtime locals list due to the boogie boarding and surfing you can do here. You can swim here, too, just pay attention to the conditions because the waves can get big, making things tougher or even dangerous. Although the sand levels change over the yearly cycle, this remains a beautiful place to sit back on and watch the swells at any time.
Down to the south a little over 1 ¼ miles is
Kahaluu Beach Park, a well-known snorkeling spot due to its reef and also where many get up on a surfboard the first time on the milder waves you’ll find here.
