Kahaluu Beach Park is nearer, 1.6 miles away, and locals will immediately tell you this is one of the best snorkeling spots around. Surfers like it as well as the swells are good, but not too intimidating, so many take their first runs off this shore.

Keauhou Shopping Center, where you’ll find shops and dining options, but also a KTA Super Store for your groceries, a Longs Drug and even an Urgent Care center. Every Saturday the shopping center is the site of the Keauhou Farmers Market from 8AM to Noon. You’ll find local produce, coffee, jams, honey & more, all grown and produced in Hawaii.
Inside your own streets, you can head to the recreation center to use the swimming pool and hot tub, or play a few matches at the nearby tennis court.
