Alii Kai sits on an oceanfront property, its condos as near as 70 yards from the Pacific, perched almost on the edge of the bluff over it. The west and most of the north side are bordered by undeveloped land thick with greenery.
The residences were built in two phases with some differences between them:
- Phase 1 – Buildings 1 – 7, which are closest to the ocean; 59 units with four floor plans of 886 to 1,086 Sq Ft Interiors.
- Phase II – Buildings 8 – 14; 56 units, 28 each of 1,020 and 1,037 Sq Ft Interiors.
Residences in both phases have one lanai, a larger, wraparound version being on the corner units. Some are fractional/vacation ownership units, but most are individually owned. Each condo has one assigned, uncovered stall for parking. Ceiling fans are a standard interior feature for cooling, but split a/c systems have been installed by owners. These are all walk-up buildings throughout, so there are no elevators in the complex.
Alii Kai has a front desk/office on-site to handle checking-in renters and some other aspects of management. Most of the residences have ocean views, many ranging from partial to completely unobstructed.
Amenities & Things To Do Sealodge Beach is close by, a little over ¾ mile, that last segment being a path down the bluff that gets steep here and there, so be careful, especially as the rain makes things slick. At the end you have a reef-protected beach to lay back on or do some swimming in these calmer waters. The reef is home to tropical fish and other ocean life, making it a snorkeling destination.
The
Queens Bath is an even more unique place to visit, only 1 mile from you. A natural pool formed inside a lava shelf, it’s an only-in-Hawaii experience to swim inside it.
It is only open from June to September due to high winter surf making it too dangerous, but that makes your time here even more special.
Inside your own neighborhood, year-round, you always have amenities to enjoy, including two pools, a jacuzzi, a tennis court and some incredible ocean views that are yours without leaving the property.
