The Hanalei Bay Villas line the inland side of Ka Haku Rd in the northwest corner of Princeville, their south bordered fully by the 4th and 5th fairways of the
Princeville Makai Golf Course.
A good number of the residences on the eastern side are across the street from the edge of the bluff that overlooks the ocean. These two and three bedroom townhomes have interior spaces of 1,244 to 1,364 Sq Ft with three lanais on the outside. The majority of the structures are elevated off the ground, at least partly due to the rolling topography of the property, supported on poles. In most cases you enter on the upper floor, which holds the kitchen and living area.
Each unit has one assigned, uncovered parking stall of their own. Ceiling fans are present throughout every villa to cool the interior. Many of the homes have peekaboo to partial ocean views from them.
Amenities & Things To Do Conveniently, the trail down to
Hideaway Beach is just across the street. Although steep in places, the reef-protected beach at the end is worth the trip of only about 300 yards total. The swimming and snorkeling are excellent most of the time and the feeling of almost having a private beach at times is a guaranteed stress cure.
You get a little different atmosphere at
Puu Poa Beach, which is just ½ mile to the west of you and sits in front of the vast 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. There’s more company, but it’s an easier hike and this is the longest beach in Princeville, so you’ll find a place on the sands without looking too hard. Like Hideaway, the waters are welcoming for swimming and snorkeling in between sunbathing sessions on shore.
Finally, the Princeville Path runs almost right by the villas, its 2 mile paved length linking this end of Princeville to
Prince Albert Park. Made for jogging or walking, this is a scenic way to get some exercise or just enjoy the day.
