The Royal Kahana is an oceanfront condominium, the closest residences sitting only about 15 yards from the Pacific. This concrete building is V-shaped, with the base fronting onto the coastline and the two wings extending back toward the street.
The studio to two bedroom condos have interiors that range from 431 to 1,287 Sq Ft and one lanai exterior. The layouts divide up into ninety-six studios, ninety-four one bedrooms and forty-six of the two bedrooms.
Central air conditioning is inside all residences here. Each unit has one assigned space that could be in the basement parking garage (eighty-nine spaces), or one of the outside stalls, forty of which are covered due to the tennis courts on the top of those. Washer/Dryer is inside every unit. In addition to parking, the basement has a storage area, with a reserved space for each condo. There are three elevators in the building, which go from the basement to the top floor.
Outrigger Resorts runs the front desk here and handles running of the hotel program, which owners can opt-into.
Most residences here have peekaboo to completely unobstructed ocean views from them.
Amenities & Things To Do Royal Kahana is operated as a resort property, so you have some of those expected amenities to enjoy even as a resident, such as a fitness center with a sauna and concierge service to arrange activities or help with some of the needs you may have. There’s also a heated oceanfront pool and sundeck to lounge on and take in the view.
Best of all, a part of Kahana Beach is right in front of your building, though its size does vary by the tidal season. However, much of the time you have sands to sit back on and the bed near the shore is sandy, making for good wading and swimming. If it's off-season for that, you only have to go a little over ¼ mile north to be on the main stretch of Kahana Beach. An offshore reef keeps the waves smaller and friendlier, so this is a swimmer’s dream here. No getting knocked around by the swells coming in.
That also brings paddleboarders here, since they can put in here and head out without too much to deal with on the way.
