About Kawela Bay
There are a lot less homes in Kawela Bay than there used to be. Back in 1986 a resort was planned to be put here. To make room all the residents along the eastern half of the Bay were evicted, clearing the land completely.

It’s no mystery why they wanted to build here. The landscape and the ocean views are both incredible, a throwback to the Old Hawaii’s unsullied scenery.

Decades later this prime real estate remains open, a result of downturns and different plans along the way that went wrong. Fortunately, the lots on the western half escaped the condemnation, holding matchless homes today. Sometimes they even come up for sale.
