Village Manor is at the north-south midway point of Kapaa’s span, sitting approx. 190 yards from the ocean. It is insulated from the main thoroughfare of Kuhio Hwy by being at least a block toward the coastline off of it on a small road that only serves the very few properties on it.
The community is laid out in two rows of three buildings each, one on the east and one on the west side, with the parking lot sitting between them. These two bedroom condos have 634 Sq Ft interiors with one lanai of 102 Sq Ft on the exterior.
Each unit has two assigned, uncovered stalls for their parking. Ceiling fans are throughout the living areas and bedrooms to cool the interiors. Currently, the Association does not allow air conditioning to be installed, but some residents do utilize portable a/c units.
A separate structure holds a community coin laundry facility for residents and guests. These are all walk-up buildings so there are no elevators in the complex.
Some of these residences have peekaboo ocean views from them.
Amenities & Things To Do Waipouli Beach is 200 yards away on the paved pathway that runs along the south side of your property. Where you come onto the beach is around the midway point of this miles long stretch of sand. This specific part of the coastline can have rougher conditions, so swimming should be done here only when it’s clear that things are calmer. For anyone who just wants to watch the sunrise over the ocean or day on the sands that can include a little wading, this spot will do just fine, though.
That said, if you go northward about ¾ mile to
Fuji Beach, there is a natural breakwater that creates a pocket of smoother waters that all levels of swimmers can enjoy.
Locals locate it by using the Panihi and Makaha Roads as the borders of this place. What might be best of all is how you get up to Fuji Beach, which is by way of the
Ke Ala Hele Makalae path. This paved pathway runs for 8.5 miles beside the coastline, taking you to many beaches and recreation spots above and below your location on it. Used by walkers, joggers and bicyclists every day, it’s how they get around town in Kapaa as well as beat the stress, every foot traveled beside the Pacific.
