The Nihi Kai Villas sit just across the street from the Pacific, one of its buildings only about 15 yards from the water.
The project is almost exclusively one bedrooms with just a very few one and three bedrooms. The interiors of all units range from 792 to 1,650 Sq Ft with one, two or four lanais exterior. There are single-level and two-story floor plans here, the three bedroom layouts also including an additional den.
Each unit has one assigned, uncovered parking space for their use. Many cool their interior using only ceiling fans, but a few have installed split a/c systems. There are no elevators in these buildings, they are all walk-ups.
The front-desk and concierge services are run by Parrish Kauai, who handle the on-site rental management program, which owners can opt-into if they choose. Many of the villas have partial ocean views, the very best outlooks being from Buildings 1, 2 & 4.
Amenities & Things To Do The property has a swimming pool, with a children’s pool and a spa right next to it. In addition there are two tennis courts, which are marked off for pickleball as well, right in the northwest corner of the community.
Brennecke’s Beach is close by, only about ¼ mile west of Nihi Kai, where you can be on the sand in a few minutes. Due to the stronger swells, anything beyond wading in should be left to more advanced surfers and bodyboarders. The scenery and the sands are still a good spot to beat the stress of the day and watch the waves come in to shore.
If you’re set on a swim,
Shipwreck Beach is a 1 1/4 mile trip, this time to your east. Along with swimming, snorkeling and surfing are good here as well, and don’t require as much skill as Brennecke’s. Lastly, the cliffs next to the beach are where divers leap off into the ocean every sunset, marking the end of each day.
