Kaha Lani is a beachfront community with residences that come as close as 70 yards from the ocean. Its location is off by itself on the coast and will probably remain so, since it sits against the 12th hole of
Wailua Golf Course to the south and
Lydgate Beach Park on both its west and the north sides.
The one to three bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 627 to 1,183 Sq Ft with one or two lanais that add either 150 or 246 Sq Ft outside. Some of the two bedrooms have a loft where one of the bedrooms and a bathroom is located. The residences break down into forty-five one bedrooms, twenty-six two bedrooms and only three of the three bedroom floor plans.
Every unit has at least one assigned, uncovered parking stall for their use. Ceiling fans are throughout the interiors in both the living areas and the bedrooms.
The owners’ association does not allow a/c units here. An on-site coin laundry facility is available for residents and guests. These are all walk-up buildings, so there are no elevators in the complex.
Castle Resorts runs the front desk and daily operations for the hotel program that owners can opt-in to if they choose.
The condos have ocean views that mostly range from partial to almost completely unobstructed, a few shoreline palm trees being the one issue.
Amenities & Things To Do The most obvious place to start is right in front of your property where you have soft sands that are part of the 2 mile long
Lydgate Beach. An artificial breakwater shields this shore so its waters are consistently calmer, making it easier to enjoy them. The beautiful sand and ocean immediately off your home are enough themselves, but you also have a bike/walking path that takes you to all there is in Lydgate Beach Park as well.
This one park has:
- Two further protected lagoons enclosed by rocks so kids especially have a safer place to play in the ocean
- One of the biggest playgrounds in Hawaii, Kamalani Playground
- A large pavilion for outdoor eating, getting some shade or it can be rented for events
- Nine hole disc golf course and volleyball courts.
Then there’s always a heated, oceanfront pool right on your own grounds where you can take in the views and get in the water, no sand clean up needed.
