Kalapaki Beach, a favorite of locals and visitors alike for the friendlier water conditions due to the breakwall offshore. The reduced waves that make it toward shore are easier to swim in and it’s safer for the kids to get in here as well. This is also a good choice for novice or even first time surfers and paddle boarders. You can rent boards, kayaks and other equipment right on the beach so you can give some activities a try to see what fits you best.
