Please note this is a restricted community for residents who are 55 years old and up and it is a Leasehold property, its Lease set to expire in 2040. The three residential buildings are each designated with both a name and a letter:
- Ocean View or ‘A’ Building.
- Garden Court or ‘B’ Building.
- Valley View or ‘C’ Building.
The buildings are all designed as four wings that form a square with an open-to-the-sky courtyard in the middle where you enter your unit. Their studio to two bedroom condos have interiors measuring from 460 to 1,109 Sq Ft with one or two lanais. Lanais here are abbreviated, so you can stand on them, but there isn’t space to sit down. Over the entire complex there are ninety-seven two bedrooms, forty of the one bedrooms and six studios.
Each unit has one or two assigned, uncovered parking spaces to use. Ceiling fans are throughout the interiors in both the living areas and the bedrooms.
Washer/Dryer is in every condo. You also have one or two storage units that are found in the basement of your building. An elevator is in each structure for residents on the upper floors.
Some condos have horizon ocean views that range from peekaboo to partial.
Amenities & Things To Do A separate recreation building on the property has a range of leisure options, including:
- TV Viewing Room.
- Fitness Center.
- Hobby & Craft Room for sculpting, painting, carving & more.
- Party Room with a dance floor.
Although you are more inland, it’s not that far to the coastline, one choice being
Hanamaulu Beach Park, which is east about 2 ¼ miles. The beach is in a protected cove and the water stays shallow for a long way off the shore. That makes it a safer part of the coast to swim or just get in for some wading or playing around. Snorkeling quality varies only because the visibility isn’t the best due to the river that flows into this bay, which can affect things. That said, it’s normally a good place to get in and take in the wonders of the underwater world.
Next to this bay on its southern side is
Ahukini State Recreational Park. The centerpiece of it is a pier with great views from it and you can see some of the historic remnants of the sugar loading docks from the old plantation days. For some the big attraction of the pier is the excellent fishing so bring your pole or your crab nets and see what’s biting.
