Kapalua Coastal Trail passes beside Ironwoods, giving you a convenient jogging/walking path. Along with the coastline scenery, it can take you to the beach at
Fleming Beach in one direction or to
Kapalua Bay Beach in the other. You’ll usually have more company on Fleming Beach, but the snorkeling is better than on Oneloa and turtle sightings are more common. Kapalua Bay Beach is under a mile west of Ironwoods and is another notable snorkeling spot. Morning hours are better here due to the crowds as well as the calmer waters at that time of day.
