The Keauhou Resort condominiums sits about ½ miles from the ocean, with the 10th & 17th fairways of the
Kona Country Club Ocean Course along its east side.
The community is made up of six buildings that hold four to eleven units in them and four duplexes. The one and two bedroom condos have interiors that measure from 666 to 1,089 Sq Ft with one or two lanais exterior. Forty of the residences are one bedrooms, which can be single-level or two-story layouts. These two-story floor plans, as you enter the front door, gives you the choice of taking steps down to the lower level holding the laundry area and a bathroom or going up to the main level with the kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, a second bathroom and the lanai. In the two bedrooms, which are all two-story, the master bedroom/bathroom can be up or downstairs with the kitchen, living room and second bedroom on the other level.
The buildings all have high, pitched roofs that, in turn, give the inside very high ceilings for much of the space. In addition, an enclosed garden is off of every residence in the complex. Amenities & Things To Do Unusually, the community’s two pools are located right next to each other, so if one is a little crowded, just head over to the other. Both are good-sized, so chances are there will be room at both as well as on the large sundeck that surrounds them.
Keauhou Bay Beach Park is less than 1/3 mile south of you, with a small beach and easy access to the water. This bay is a popular boating area, so swimming should be done close in. Otherwise, many like it here for standup paddle boarding, heading out into the bay’s generally calmer waters. For snorkelers, the area by the north side of the bay is said to have a lot to offer, with many varieties of tropical fish who gather there.
If some shopping is needed, it’s only about ¾ mile from your home to
Keauhou Shopping Center. There you can take care of your groceries, pick up essentials at the drugstore or go out for dinner.
