    The Marina Towers inhabit a part of Waikiki that isn't as flashy. It's a quieter area on the western end that is more residential, rather than tourist. That doesn't mean it lacks nice touches that make it stand out, however.

    The building got a thorough facelift in 2013, upgrading to new glass rails on the exterior, completing spalling repairs and getting a new paint job outside. This would mean little if there weren't already some very nice existing elements to the property.
