The Poipu Sands sit on the southeast, oceanfront corner of Poipu Kai Resort, next to Shipwreck Beach.

The one to three bedroom condos have interiors of 956 to 1,772 Sq Ft and one to three lanais exterior. About 80% of the total homes are two-bedrooms, which can be one or two-story layouts. There are only two three-bedrooms, both two-story, and the remaining units are one-bedrooms. Residents have at least one uncovered, unassigned parking stall to use. The units have split a/c systems and/or ceiling fans to lower the temperature inside.

There are no elevators in the complex, these are all walk-up buildings. Many of the condos have partial ocean views, those in Building 5 sometimes being close to unobstructed.

Amenities & Things To Do
The community has a large, manicured green space in front with walking paths through it. Your pool is at the far south side of this space, off by itself, which keeps the noise away from your residence.

You can take the path right to Shipwreck Beach, which is only about 130 yards east. This long, sandy beach has plenty of space to find a spot for your towel and the swimming and snorkeling are both excellent here. This is also where you can see divers jump at sunset from the adjacent cliffs to end each day.

Poipu Kai’s walking paths can also take you west, just over ½ mile, to Brennecke’s Beach. The swells are more challenging, so be sure you’re ready to take them on if you’re going surfing. Staying on the sands is good, too, with wonderful coastline scenery all around.

One other great benefit of living in Poipu Kai is that you can use many of the resort’s amenities, including its main pool & spa, its eight tennis/pickleball courts and the restaurant/sports bar.
