The University Plaza is actually two buildings, one fronting onto University Ave, near the King St intersection, and the other directly behind it. Along with the nearby shopping, including a drug store, and dining, you can get onto H-1 in either direction within a very few blocks.
The one bedrooms across the pair of buildings have interiors of 478 to 642 Sq Ft.
The two structures have some big differences:
- ‘Commercial Building’ (931 University - 27 Units):
- Mixed use, but almost exclusively commercial. Only a few third story units are used as residences.
- The complex’s largest interiors are here.

- Window A/C units are inside most of the interiors, with at least one that has a split a/c system.
- ‘Residential Building’ (2626 Kuilei - 24 Units):
- Residences only.
- The eight ground floor units here are the only ones with a lanai, which is 88 Sq Ft.
- Shared community laundry machines are on each floor for that level’s residents to use.
- Most interiors have window a/c units in them.
- Each condo has one assigned, uncovered parking stall.
Both buildings are walk-ups, so there are no elevators.
