Bill 41 (CO 22-07), all Waikiki Sunset units are allowed to do short-term renting, including units without a NUC (owners must register their unit for short-term renting -
see here).
Waikiki Sunset, a
condo hotel in east Waikiki with community laundry and a convenience store on-site, sits close to
Kuhio Beach and
Kapiolani Park for walks/runs.
Units- Mostly 1BR/1BA (~500-600 sq ft) with a proper bedroom separated by a door and wall, featuring full kitchens, central AC, small balconies (fitting 2 people), and 1 unassigned parking stall (rare for Waikiki condo hotels).
- A few 6th-floor units (amenity deck level) have oversized patios; end units on the Diamond Head side (13 and 14 stacks) are small 2BRs, many with stunning Diamond Head and ocean views.
- Even-numbered 1BR units face the ocean (dramatic views from higher floors, obstructed on mid/lower levels); uneven-numbered units face the mountains.
