Kihei Alii Kai is a condominium complex with a great location in Kihei. The property is tucked away from the main road, yet still right across the street from Kamaole Beach Park I - one of Maui’s best beaches for swimming and snorkeling.
The complex consists of four four-story buildings with elevators. It also has two parking lots: one open-air in front and another in the rear, which is a mix of open-air and covered, with the tennis courts on top of the covered part of the parking structures. Units get one or two unassigned parking stalls.
The one-bedroom and two-bedroom units range between 700 and 945 square feet. There are also a few three-bedrooms at around 1,150 square feet. Select units have a two-story layout with a lofted bedroom, vaulted ceilings and bonus windows.
Every unit includes a lanai, most with partial ocean views and some with more expansive views. Several have been upgraded with air conditioning, either window or split. All have in-unit washers and dryers.
The grounds of Kihei Alii Kai are nicely landscaped with pristine tropical plants. A pool terrace in the center of the complex features a solar-heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Up a short staircase to the rooftop of the covered part of the parking structure are the 2 tennis courts and shuffleboard court along with a barbecue area offering two gas grills and tables. At the very read of the property is open-air storage space for stand-up paddle boards and surfboards.
