About Kahala Towers
Driving on H1 through Kahala, just as it transitions to Kalanianaole Hwy, two high-rise building on the mauka side seem to be keeping watch over the traffic as it speeds by. Those unmissable structures are the Kahala Towers.

Many don't realize the two are part of the same property because they differ so much in height. The higher tower, on the Koko Head side, is the 'B' building, the shorter one is 'A'. Regardless of which you live in, you're a resident in one of just two high-rise condominiums in all of Kahala.

That height advantage lays out the district at your feet, so your lanai takes in Kahala, the Waialae Country Club, Diamond Head and, if you're up high enough, the ocean waves playing in the distance.

One caveat is that the highway's close proximity limits the views for the 1st 3 or 4 stories in both towers. This can be a huge issue for some, requiring that a listing be above that mark to get your interest.

The many floors have made room for a nice range of unit sizes. A 2BR can have from 841 to 1,176 sq ft of interior space. 3BRs span 1,152 sq ft to 1,620 in them and 4BRs have either 1,152 or 1,706 sq ft.

Got an itch for eating out or a little shopping? Kahala Mall is across the street with not only all of those options, but a Whole Foods and movie theaters as well. The many beloved restaurants of Kaimuki are just up the street, too.

It's true that the noise level can be higher here than anywhere else in Kahala due to the highway, but buying here is often a more affordable way to get into the neighborhood. Most will find that's a tradeoff definitely worth making.
