The Village at Maluhia is one of those Honolulu condos that can spring a surprise or two on home buyers. Those expecting another building with uniform layouts inside it will find something very different.

The main, taller structure does have the more expected floor plans with lanais on them all. The other, shorter section of this complex offers something a little less usual. Here you'll walk into spaces with high ceilings, including a 1BR that has a vaulted ceiling measuring 18 feet high in your living area.

Some also have the bedroom upstairs in a loft area, providing a 2nd level that's a little hipper than your typical layout. These condos do not have lanais, however, which can make the main building more attractive to some. Those units have outside spaces that vary from 35 to 70 sq ft on them.

The views from the main building go out to the city lights brightening each evening, the Koolau Mountains that rise above you in their green coats and, if you're high up enough, some ocean view, too.

Living on Pensacola Street creates many advantages, such as the mere 2 ½ blocks it needs to get you on Lunalilo St and its entrance to H1W. You can also follow Pensacola a little further then head to Piikoi St where you get right onto H1E. Or use that same route to arrive even quicker at Safeway or Times for your groceries. Walgreens is just as close by for the common drug store needs.

If you commute Downtown on the bus, there's 2 stops on Pensacola, each a block from you in the mauka and makai directions. If you're driving to work, that's easy as well, taking just a few minutes to be at the Bishop and Alakai central areas.

Whether you like the prospect of greater views or a more unique layout, the Village at Maluhia can satisfy your desire. Both options get the same great benefits of your location, so you can't lose either way.
