You can get down to the sands beneath and, from there, get into the reef protected waters here for some smooth swimming or wading.
You can swim a few yards north to reach your next door neighbor,
Honokowai Beach Park. The aquatic environment is good here as well, including a few places to do some snorkeling. What might be most attractive is that it also offers a large on-shore recreation option. The grassy space of the park is 4 ½ acres in size with a pair of playgrounds for the kids and BBQs with picnic tables nearby to use, too.
