About Keolu Hills Keolu Hills is a neighborhood in the Enchanted Lake section of Kailua, appropriately named as it’s on the hills that rise behind Lanikai. The base of the neighborhood is bordered by Keolu Drive and it extends to the top of the hills. Homes near the top of the neighborhood enjoy wonderful views of Mount Olomana, the ocean and coastline, and the city below. The neighborhood began development in the 1950s and many of Keolu Hills’ original homes were built in the late ‘50s and ‘60s. Today the standard Keolu Hills home has 3 or 4 bedrooms and 1,000 - 1,800 sq ft of living space.
